Female Tri-aid syndrome

Tri-aid syndrome 
It is also known as female athlete triad which is a hormone three related condition generally seen in teen or adult female who are not meeting there energy requirements, which ultimately leaves them under nourished. This condition is more common in female athletes.



 The three components of  female athlete triad include:- 
1. energy deficit & disorders eating.
2. menstrual irregularities or amenorrhea 
3. decreased bone density

 Treatment of athletic amenorrhea include the suspect of tribal aid syndrome should seek medical attention. A visit to a physician for a complete history and physical, blood work and perhaps bone density testing may prevent long term health problems. 

       some of the sign of the triad include such as amenorrhea , may have other causes that can be ruled out with medical evaluations. recovering from the condition often requires a multidisciplinary approach that include physician , a nutritionist , a counsellor ,as well as the athlete's coach & family .

 Treating athletic amenorrhea 

Amenorrhea is not a normal part of training, it is dangerous and unhealthy.  If female athlete has stopped menstruating then your first priority should be to resume the menstruating by:-
1.decreasing your training volume 10 to 15 % 
2. increasing your calories intake by 10 to 15 percent 
3. increasing your calcium intake
4.see your doctors, nutritionist or personal trainer
